Here are are most frequently asked questions. If you still would like further information, please feel free to contact us with any enquiries.

Playing times

Legend will agree to play for a specified period of time, usually two sets of approximately 60 to 75 minutes. We will provide a full PA system and light show. We can also provide background music when the band is not playing if required. Clients own music can also be played via an iPod.

If required Legend can play for longer than the agreed set times, which will be subject to an extra fee.


What equipment does Legend use?

Legend has a scalable, professional level rig that delivers excellent sound quality. Our PA is operated by an experienced sound engineer.

Our PA consists of:

  • QSC active PA speakers (4K to 8K dependent on venue)
  • Separate monitoring amplification (2K)
  • Seven 15" monitor enclosures
  • Allen & Heath ZED-420 mixing desk
  • Digital effects and compression
  • Shure microphones

Lighting:

We operate an extensive (predominantly LED based) lighting rig. Special effects can also be provided upon request.


Set up times

We would recommend a minimum of two hours to set up time the band, PA, lighting and carry out a sound check. We will always do our best to be flexible and work around other aspects of the set up of your event.

An early set up can be arranged at an extra cost, please ask for details.


Staging/playing area

Ideally we require a stage (or area to set up) of approximately 6m wide x 4m deep, with main power supplied. If a generator is being used we can provide advice on the minimum specification/loading. We will also require a small area away from the stage to set up the mixing desk.


Special songs

We are happy consider playing special songs, however we would ideally ask for 4 weeks notice to prepare.


Dressing area and refreshments

We need a dressing room to change in and refreshments for nine people.


Costs / terms

We would be delighted to give you an estimate for your function. Please contact with details of the event.

Upon agreeing a price we would ask for a 10% non-refundable deposit in advance, with the balance paid on the night.

Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the event date will be charged at 50% of the total agreed fee.
